View Terence
Terence, who goes by the aliases ”wheat” and ”ol’dirtybastos” (amongst other random names) has been one of my best friends since the second grade. A good friend of my family, he used to go on road trips with us around the USA, growing up. He accompanied me on my first parentless trip away, to Europe for a month at the age of sixteen, where we wandered Germany, Paris, Switzerland, and the Italian Riveria with my German cousin Hans-Georg. After college, he accompanied me on a backpacking trip around Europe—to Rome, Venice, Vienna, Amsterdam, Geneva, Basel, and Barcelona.
Terence has made appearances on “The Trinidad Show,” first in the DAY 125 entry of The Global Trip 2004 blog when he met up with me in Rio de Janeiro. His most recent foreign travels with me was to Munchen, Germany, for the 2006 Oktoberfest celebration, immortalized the German entries of the blog, “Tomatoes, Grease & Beer.”
